EU AI Act Compliance

Our adherence to European AI regulations and transparency obligations

HDTwin is designed with a “Compliance by Design” approach, ensuring full alignment with the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act).

1. Risk Classification

HDTwin is classified as a Low-Risk AI System.

Our technology, which combines neuro-symbolic AI with large language models (LLMs), is used for:

  • Synthetic market research
  • Opinion gathering and consensus detection
  • Stakeholder simulation

It does not engage in any prohibited practices or high-risk applications as defined by the EU AI Act (e.g., biometric identification, social scoring, or critical infrastructure management).

2. Transparency Obligations

In accordance with Article 52 of the EU AI Act, HDTwin fulfills all transparency requirements:

2.1 Explicit Disclosure

All partiuser of the deliberation and studio applications are informed that they are interacting with AI-generated synthetic personas. These “Human Digital Twins” are clearly identified as computer programs and not real individuals.

2.2 Neuro-Symbolic Explainability

Our patent-pending technology provides analytical evidence for the reasoning of each individual AI agent. This neuro-symbolic approach ensures that AI insights are not “black boxes” but remain explainable and auditable.

3. Data Quality and Governance

HDTwin ensures high standards of data governance:

  • Bias Sterilization: We use advanced techniques to mitigate implicit biases within the underlying AI models.
  • Validation: Virtual panels are fine-tuned and scientifically validated against real-world field research to guarantee alignment.
  • Human Oversight: The platform is designed to be a tool for human analysts (e.g., market researchers, political strategists), ensuring that ultimate insights and decisions remain under human control.
